Working alongside the Group Sales Director and with some of the best sales talent in the UK, you’ll have the opportunity to recruit, develop and grow a team around you.

A BIT MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

In this brand new role, Sales Geek are looking for an individual that can come in and help us lead and build our sales team. We’re great believers that you can’t lead a department until you’ve worked in that department and understand it, so you’ll be doing the sales job yourself and working alongside the Group Sales Director for 3-6 months to learn the ropes, before looking to recruit your team that will report to you. This really is the heart of sales and you’ll be surrounded by people and businesses that live and breathe this wonderful industry! The leadership team have worked incredibly hard to develop and nurture a culture that will allow individuals to succeed, thrive and grow. We have some incredibly ambitious plans over the next few years and need an individual that wants to grow and potentially develop into our future Head of Sales Department.

Responsibilities

MONTHS 1 - 6

πŸ‘“ Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
πŸ‘“ Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, outreach and social media
πŸ‘“ Set up meetings with potential clients and qualify their needs and requirements.
πŸ‘“ Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
πŸ‘“ Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences (digital and physical)
πŸ‘“ Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
πŸ‘“ Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
πŸ‘“ Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Responsibilities

MONTH 6 ONWARDS

πŸ‘“ Work on corporate sales, leading on larger contracts and selling to higher value individuals
πŸ‘“ Work alongside the Group Sales Director on the long term strategy, team structure and routes to market
πŸ‘“ Recruit, onboard and train the new sales team
πŸ‘“ Lead and develop the sales culture and internal sales department
πŸ‘“ Conduct 1-2-1 reviews with team members and group training sessions
πŸ‘“ Work on internal processes and streamlining all sales processes
