Sales Geek’s mission is simple & ambitious: to change the way the world perceives sales. This ambition drove our move into franchising. We believe true transformation needs a Geek in every business community, fostering small business growth & resilience.

Each small business we partner with represents more than numbers: it’s an owner worried about payroll or a sales leader anxious about job security. Our Geeks step in at these moments, easing pressures that affect livelihoods. Often, clients “don’t know what they don’t know,” our Geeks find solutions and help deliver them. The difference this makes is summed up in this testimonial – See Q1.1 (All quotes, video etc. are coded & linked in supporting evidence sections below. Just click each code).

Through medium & long term collaboration, we help clients grow revenue, reduce stress & scale. The ripple effect is significant: jobs created, wages raised, supply chains strengthened & community initiatives funded. One of our longest-standing clients, supported by our East Lancashire franchise, turned their business around & scaled to the point of sale. Q1.2

The Franchisee Journey

Franchising transforms our Geeks. Many join from senior corporate roles seeking something more meaningful: to build a legacy, spend more time with family & create value beyond shareholder returns. See link in additional info section to listen to our franchisees talk about their experiences: Pre-onboarding V1.1 / Onboarding P1.1 / First weeks V1.2 / Life as a Geek V1.3

Sales Clubs

Sales Clubs are often the first touchpoint for Geeks & their communities. We designed 12 themed events focused on practical strategies for leaders. The goal: empower communities to “sell more things, more often, to more people”

Clubs integrate with Chambers of Commerce & other stakeholders, giving franchisees a model proven to generate clients. To date, over 8,000 businesses have attended at least one Sales Club.

In June, Sales Geek Scotland staged the largest Club to date, with nearly 200 business leaders at Hampden Stadium. Sponsored by RBS & charity partner Back Onside, the event gave franchisees credibility & visibility. Watch the event video: V1.4 and testimonial: Q1.3

Public Sector Collaborations

Our network partners with public bodies to part-fund programmes supporting start-ups & scale-ups. For example, we launched the Scale to Sale programme with Lancashire County Council, giving leadership teams match-funded access to our Your Sales Director service. See L1.1

Continuous Professional Development

Our value “Geeks are always learning” is central. Sales Geek training is endorsed by the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP), enabling participants to earn CPD points.

Currently, 90% of franchisees (new recruits since May 2025 are pending) have achieved Ethical Seller status & are ISP-registered, allowing them to award CPD points themselves. This commitment drives continual growth, vital in today’s sales landscape.

Mentoring

Our value “Geeks Care” inspires us to go further. Many franchisees mentor beyond their client base, such as:

  • Supporting young people leaving the armed forces
  • A psychotherapy-trained Geek helping young people
  • Mentoring the leader of Six Connections

We also mentor emerging franchises, training Access4Lofts recruits & supporting an Alloy Wheel business in launching its model.

Franchise Sector

Sales Geek strengthens the sector by helping franchisors scale, develop people & improve performance. In partnership with Black Flag Coaching Ltd, we deliver tailored sales solutions into franchisor networks.

We are implementing a 3-year strategy with the British Franchise Association (BFA) to maximise impact. National partnerships, such as the National Sales Conference, let us engage the franchise community, share best-practice & deliver masterclasses.

Charitable Giving & Sponsorship

Our national charity partner is Cash for Kids. One Geek sits on the national board as an NED & is a trustee on the Manchester board. We have linked franchisees to Cash for Kids’ 23 regional sites, providing training to improve commercial awareness & community giving. Franchisees also commit to flagship events & will deliver training at the national conference.

In partnership with Bauer Media & an education provider, we are co-developing an FE-level sales curriculum to give young people a grounding in enhanced sales practices, leading to a recognised qualification.

At HQ, we support charities including Blackburn Youth Zone & Blackpool Empowerment Charity, providing £20,000 in training & mentoring, & even lending our voices to fundraising concerts. We have also partnered with the King’s Trust (formerly Prince’s Trust) for 4 years.

Many franchisees also give back through sponsorship, volunteering & fundraising. This year, 4 Geeks completed the London Marathon, raising over £15,000 for charities including The Smile Group, National Deaf Children’s Society, Asthma & Lung UK, & Shelter. See Q1.4 What our franchisees say & Q1.5 What our charity partners say.

In Conclusion

Together, these initiatives show Sales Geek’s contribution goes far beyond sales training. We champion the profession, strengthen franchising, mentor the next generation & invest in communities. Whether through helping businesses grow, inspiring students, supporting charities or guiding franchisors, our network lives our values: Geeks Care & Geeks Are Brave. In doing so, we not only change the way the world perceives sales, we change lives.

Over the course of nine months it was brilliant to work with Graeme and Sales Geek – the impact he’s had on both myself and my team has been transformative. I would definitely recommend Graeme for his immense expertise in sales coaching & mentorship. I wasn’t sure what to expect beforehand, however was super pleased with Graeme’s relaxed, personable, and learner-centric approach. Sales Geek fused learning with doing, so that month on month the team would put into practice what they’d learned in real-life scenarios. The individual & group sessions we had were often full-on, but importantly, always great fun. Graeme fused learning with doing, so that month on month the team would put into practice what they’d learned in real-life scenarios. The proof is in the pudding as they say – well, I’ve achieved some of my best deals since working with Sales Geek, I have implemented better processes & a more robust sale structure, and importantly have a strong focus on what we do next to grow. It was clear that Graeme wanted us to succeed & in addition to “Sales Coach” often felt like he was my cheerleader as well (just without the pom poms!)

There’s just no way we could employ a team that has Sales Geek’s knowledge & expertise on tap. Sales Geek have been instrumental in our business growth and things have really taken off since we engaged them. If you are a small business & aren’t working with the Geeks you should seriously consider doing so rather than employing a Sales Director

“The fantastic Sales Club Summer Accelerator at Hampden, that we partnered with, was clear evidence of Sales Geek Glasgow’s ability and knowledge. The event proved their network strength, with huge attendance and amazing interaction throughout. Their networks and knowledge of everything sales-related are outstanding and we would recommend any business to engage with them.”

Charitable Giving & Sponsorship

This (Charitable giving) is an essential part of being a decent human being, not just a Geek!  There are a lot of skills in Sales Geek, and if we can share our expertise or time in order to help individuals or organisations be more successful or create more impact, we should all be doing this.  The business community in Shropshire is a huge part of my life now, and there is a real drive to support one another, and give back when we can

At NAPAC, we’re a well-established national charity with a strong mission and a clear, values-led approach to income generation. As we looked to grow our training offer, Tony Greenwood (Sales Geek Lancashire) provided insightful, tailored mentoring that built on our existing strengths and helped take things to the next level. He sharpened my commercial confidence and deepened my understanding of how to communicate value and use CRM systems more strategically – all the while staying true to our ethos. Tony’s supportive, energising style made complex ideas feel practical and achievable.’Tony Time’ quickly became a highlight of my week. If you’re in a mission-driven organisation looking to evolve your sales mindset in an authentic way, I’d highly recommend him.
